Will It Rain 03:54
WIll it rain on the last day of my life, Will a storm drown out my final cries, Will a rose bloom under darkened clouds, Will the lightning brighten up my room and let you see my eyes. I don't know. I don't know. But if it rains, I hope it pours. I don't know. I don't know. Let my body become the soil. Will I cry on the last day of my life, Or will I know; be stripped of all my doubts, Will a rose bloom under darkened clouds, Will the lightning brighten up my room and let you see my eyes. I don't know. I don't know. But if it rains, I hope it pours. I don't know. I don't know. Let my body become the soil. I dreamed there was a flower that bloomed out of my bed, Bereft of all my mistakes, bereft of all my sins. I dreamt a bush was blooming out of my last tomb. Lonely throughout my life, but now I'm a part of you. So it goes. So it goes. If it rains, it's gonna pour. So it goes. So it goes. Let my body become the soil, and let it grow.

Undone 04:46
I remember when you called me and the sting from in that phone, When you said you couldn't handle the burden of our love. Still too far away to notice, my heart still fell apart, When the dust began to settle and I realized you were gone. I remember all the good times walking to the park, Engaged in talks about forever and the burden of our love, Then I thought I saw you choke up as you realized the cost. There could never be a gamble like the burden of our love. Troubled heart don't take it harshly, it's only love. Restless soul don't give up searching, it's only lost. And the silhouettes that you left are the darkest it gets. Now don't come undone. I still see you in the morning as I prepare to leave, The sunlight sneaks in through the blinds and you lie there glistening. I could never hold against you any wrongs that you had done. I could never live without you or that burden of our love. Troubled heart don't take it harshly, it's only love. Restless soul don't give up searching, it's only lost. And the silhouettes that you left are the darkest it gets. Now don't come undone. I could never live without you or the burden of our love...

Snow falling down on a Long Island town The winter feels colder this year. The chill hits, the costs rise like shivers down my spine, But David met Rosie so everything's fine. Hold on The turnpike's been frozen as cars shuffle round. And Times Square is abuzz like a chilled sauvignon. But there by the fireplace with a glass of red wine, David's with Rosie so everything's fine. Dance with me. Just like the days of old With the AM still buzzing, we walk 'cross the sand. Hand in hand, eye to eye until the sun nestles down, Run away with me. The Strand has been danced on, paraded and shopped. Through Art Walks, the Rally, and the great Mardis Gras. But even when storms clear the streets for the night, David's with Rosie so everything's fine. Dance with me, Until we can't no more. With Zak Perry singing, we waltz cross the floor. Hand in hand, eye to eye. long past the sunset's last glow, Stay awake with me. Dance with me, Until the sun burns out. With joy and conviction, you held your head high. Hand in hand, eye to eye, I can see how you shine, You're my centerpiece. The soundboard's unplugged, They've turned out the lights, But David's with Rosie, so everything's fine.

about

Feel free to pay what you want, but please keep in mind that every $1 that goes into this EP will be invested into further recordings for you.

As a set of 3 songs that were all written in about 10-minutes each, these songs reflect years of toiling through hundreds of songs written. This is my first ever professional recording, and the theme of rebirth carried through the album is strong and representative of my current musical state. This album is complete thanks to help from Ezra Bishop, Zak Perry, Tex Renner, the whole Tuesday Night Music Club at Sharky's, and Glen, Michael and Bailey at the Guitar Lounge and Lounge Studios.

It is dedicated to the memory of the great Denny Norris.
